ジェフがギターを演奏しているところに母親がやってきます。
Mom: Oh, Jeff, don’t stop playing.
Jeff: Thanks, Mom, but I have a problem. I scratched Dad’s new guitar with my pick. See?
Mom: Where? This? The chances are that your Dad won’t even notice such a tiny scratch.
Jeff: I hope you’re right, Mom. Dad paid a lot of money for this.
Mom: It was going to get scratched anyway. You know the way your Dad plays.
Jeff: That’s true. Anyway, I hope he doesn’t get mad.
Mom: Don’t worry, he won’t.
