①助動詞＋完了形(have + 過去分詞)
I must have because I can’t find it anywhere.
must は「～にちがいない」。must have-ここでは省略が起こっているため must have dropped it ということですが-は「現在の時点までに（それを落とした）」に違いないと現在確信しているのです。
次の must have cheated もまったく同じ意識。

「may + 完了形」も練習しておきましょう。「～した・だったかもしれない」。以前の出来事について現在推量しています。

look for は「～を探す」というフレーズですが、look は「目をやる」、for は「求めて」。
組み合わせて「求めて目をやる＝探す」となります。
