Today’s dialog
人前で話すことが苦手なアオイは、プレゼンテーションを控えて会社の先輩ケンに相談しています。
Aoi: Hi, Ken. Can you give me some advice?
Ken: Sure, Aoi. What’s up?
Aoi: I need to give a presentation next week, but I’m worried about it. I hate to speak in front of people.
Ken: Don’t worry. Just relax and make sure you’re prepared.
Aoi: I want to use lots of slides.
Ken: Actually, I think it’s better not to use too many slides. Speaking in your own words is important.
Aoi: OK. Can you listen to it later?
Ken: Sure. I have time today.

発言系の動詞はいろいろありますが、speak のイメージは単に（口から）音声を出す。この種の動詞の中で最も単純なイメージを持っています。
