COOL D: Oh, who’s that?
Yumi: Taro Tanaka.
COOL D: Taro Tanaka? In our band? I’ve never heard of anyone by that name.
Yumi: I think he’s your lead singer.
COOL D: You mean MCT? Oh, right. MC Taro. I didn’t know his real name was Taro. He’ll be back soon.

Jason: The cost of making the dolls would be too high.
Monica: I disagree.
Jason: Listen to me. This is a bad idea.

Ken: Sure. I have time today.

あなたは同僚に話しかけます。共通の友人であるマリの婚約というビッグニュースを伝えるためです。あなたはマリからの連絡でそれを知りました。まず同僚にそのニュースを聞いているかを尋ね、共同でプレゼントを買うというアイデアはどうか尋ねてください。
例えば「マリについて聞いた？ 婚約したというメールを受け取ったのよ。彼女へのプレゼントを一緒に買うのもいいんじゃないかなって感じているの。もし賛成してくれるなら、彼女と話して、何が欲しいのか聞いてみるわ」くらいでしょうか。
