今回は条件設定に近い意味を表現を２つ学んでいきます。
Today’s dialog
日本の温泉を楽しんでいるショウタとアリー。アイスクリームを買いに･･･。
Shota: Did you enjoy the hot spring, Ally?
Ally: Yes, it was so relaxing. But now I want some ice cream. I should have bought that miso ice cream back at that shop.
Shota: Don’t they sell it here in the hotel?
Ally: No, they just have chocolate and vanilla ice cream. You stay here. I’ll go back there and get some.
Shota: Wait. I’m sure you can handle the Japanese, but I’ll go with you just in case.
Ally: Thanks, Shota.
