But yesterday after dinner, he locked himself in his room and didn’t come out until this morning, which has never happened before. I wonder what’s going on.

Hey, Ken. You have paint on your face.
Oops. Thanks. Hey, look at this! I painted this portrait of my mother yesterday.
I locked myself in my room so no one would see me working on it. I’m going to give it to her tonight for her birthday.
