Yayoi: I can understand why. Oh, look! I’ve seen videos of those colorful buildings. They’re famous.
Jonas: The conference hall is not too far from here.
Yayoi: When are we meeting the Amsterdam staff?
Jonas: We are supposed to meet them in twenty minutes.

「思う」を意味する動詞にはニュアンスの理解が難しいものがあります。be supposed to は規則や法律・約束などの決まり事（～することになっている）を表します。それは suppose の語源が「下に置く」で「判断の土台」が感じられる動詞だからです。
