To put it mildly, it’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
Today’s dialog
会社の同僚カナとケンが昼食で中華料理店に来ていますが、ケンは料理を残します。
Kana: Why didn’t you finish your lunch, Ken? Weren’t you hungry?
Ken: Actually, I was hungry, but I couldn’t eat that stuff.
Kana: Was it that bad?
Ken: To put it mildly, it’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
Kana: But it was your idea to come here for lunch.
Ken: Well, this used to be a good restaurant. I guess they changed the cooks recently. I’m never coming back.
Kana: Oh, that’s too bad. My food was fine.
