Joe, you can’t wear these pants anymore. Look, there’s a hole in the back pocket.
But those are my favorite pants. All my other trousers are too tight on me.
Well, you can’t go out in these. What will people say?
They can say what they like. It doesn’t bother me.
Listen, you’re getting new pants. Let’s go shopping. I need to get some new clothes for spring anyway.
OK. If you insist.
Hi, I’m looking for an ink ribbon cartridge for my word processor.
Word Processor?
You don’t know what that is?
I’ve heard of them. Unfortunately, almost nobody uses them now.
Can you check for me? Here’s the old cartridge.
Mmm… I’m afraid they stopped making these about ten years ago.
Oh, no! So, I can’t use my word processor anymore?
There might be some old cartridges available on the internet.
OK, thanks.
Why didn’t you finish your lunch, Ken? Weren’t you hungry?
Actually, I was hungry, but I couldn’t eat that stuff.
Was it that bad?
To put it mildly, it’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
But it was your idea to come here for lunch.
Well, this used to be a good restaurant. I guess they changed the cooks recently. I’m never coming back.
Oh, that’s too bad. My food was fine.
Yayoi, do you have any more labels for the boxes?
Sure, here you go. As the boss mentioned before, we need to put our desk number on all our boxes.
Got it. Why do we have to move now? I’m extremely busy.
Everybody’s busy, Jonas. Assisting in the move is part of your job.
Well, I hope you understand I might be late with my report.
Like I said, this move has priority now.
SAY IT ENGLISH①
How did the date go?

Terrible. Actually, he’s the worst guy that I’ve ever met in my life, to put it mildly.
He should’ve learned manners in elementary school.
SAY IT ENGLISH②
What’s your dream job?
表現例

But it doesn’t bother me. I will definitely make it happen. You’ll see.
