I worked under a female professor for many years.
Today’s dialog
ピーコック教授が、昔の知り合いアキと話をしています。
Peacock: Sure, if it’s not too personal.
Aki: Were you ever married?
Peacock: Well, that qualifies as a “personal question.” No,never. But I’ve had girlfriends.
Aki: I see. You just didn’t want to get married.
Peacock: I have nothing against marriage. But I worked under a female professor for many years. I thought married life might be like that.
Ak: Oh, did you have many arguments?
Peacock: Let’s just say we had our share.
