Caspar: I was so tired from making videos of our cat.

Alexis: Where is Umi anyway?

Caspar: She’s in the kitchen, I think. Did you know she can talk?

Alexis: What? Do you have proof?

Caspar: I was going to film her so that people would believe me.

Alexis: So, you didn’t film her.

Caspar: No. She stopped talking when I turned on the camera.

Gary: Was I snoring? I must have fallen asleep. The movie was too long.

Helen: It was so romantic and interesting. I can’t believe you slept through the most important scene!

Gary: Which scene did I miss?

Helen: Let’s go to a café and talk about it.

Gary: We’ve been sitting in a theater for two hours. I’d rather take a walk somewhere. The weather’s so nice.

Helen: All right, we can talk while we walk.

Ms. Stravinsky: I’m happy you enjoyed it. By the way, have you ever been to Europe?

Wayne: Unfortunately, no.

Ms. Stravinsky: Really? You must go.

Wayne: Absolutely. I’ve promised Amy we’ll go there one day.

Ms. Stravinsky: Yes, she’ll love Europe. I can make a list of the best places to see.

Wayne: Thank you. I’d appreciate that.

Jessica: Oh, I’ve never been to Japan. Where in Japan are you going?

Peacock: Okinawa. I want to do some scuba diving near the so-called “Yonaguni ruins” again.

Jessica: Do you really think they’re a man-made structure?

Peacock: That’s what I want to confirm.

Jessica: Well, I’m sure the trip will be a great success. I look forward to hearing all about it when you get back.
