直樹は、昼休みに役場近くの喫茶店でデービッドと話をしています。
Let’s listen to today’s story.
David: So, Naoki…Yumi asked me to talk to you.
Naoki: I figured you two were friends.
David: How did you know?
Naoki: You are landscape photographer. Yumi works for a travel magazine, so I thought you two already knew each other. Yumi didn’t want you to tell me, right?
David: Yumi was the first editor I worked with in Japan. It’s thanks to her that my work was published here. She’s done so much for me. I don’t want to see her so sad. I want her to be happy again.
Naoki: Thank you, David. Me, too.
Yumi didn’t want you to tell me, right?
