すべてとてもスムーズにいきました。私たちの提案の概略をプレゼンテーションしたのですが、とても好意的な反応でした。
Everything went very smoothly. I gave a presentation outlining our proposal, and I received very positive feedback.
 
a presentation の説明が outlining 以下になります。outline は「概略・要点を述べる」。
 
私が十分には答えられなかった質問も少々ありましたので、彼らには上司と相談のうえお答えすると言っておきました。私たちの提案を受け入れてくれるといいのですが。
There were a few questions I couldn’t answer fully, so I told them I would provide answers after consulting with you. I hope they will accept our proposal.
 
a few questions(少しの質問)を関係代名詞節 I couldn’t answer fully が説明していますが、fully を not が否定していることに注意。「強い単語を」を否定する部分否定です。「十分には答えていない」ということ。after consulting with you では consult(相談する)が使われています。専門家や権威を持った人にアドバイスを求めることを表す重要な動詞。
