比較級を強調し「はるかに・ずっとより～」を表すには、much(たくさん)や far(遠く)、 a lot (たくさん) などを用います。 単純な very のような強調語は使うことができません。
比較級とともに使われる場合、 once (1回)、 twice (2回) は使えません。

one point five times faster (1.5倍速い)、
two times faster (2倍速い)などとします。
