Jason: Huh? What time is it? Five more minutes…
Abigail: No way. Wake up and get out of bed right now. You overslept again.
Jason: Seriously? I thought it was Saturday.
Abigail: It’s Thursday.
Jason: Oh no… My boss is going to kill me.
Abigail: Then stop talking and start moving. I packed your lunch already.
Jason: Abigail, what would I do without you?
Abigail: Probably lose your job. Now hurry!
A: Make his bed.
B: Go to work.
C: Pack his lunch.
Liz: Are you all right? That looked pretty bad. You’d better go to the hospital and get it checked out. I can take you.
Mr. Yamamoto: Thank you, but I can get there myself. It’s probably nothing serious.
Liz: I wouldn’t take that chance. Let me drive you.
Mr. Yamamoto: Well…if you insist.
—–
Mr. Yamamoto: Thank you.
Liz: You’re welcome. By the way, here’s my business card.
Mr. Yamamoto: Oh? Thank you.
Liz: Feel free to call me if you ever need help.
Mr. Yamamoto: That’s very kind of you.

Justin: Hi, Yukiko. This is Justin Miller. Do you have a minute?
Yukiko: Of course. What can I do for you?
Justin: We’ve received several complaints about the search function recently.
Yukiko: I wasn’t aware of that.
Justin: I’ll send you the info. I need you to take a close look at it and see what’s causing the problem.
Yukiko: Certainly. I’ll have my team investigate it right away.
Justin: Great. I’d appreciate an update by the end of the week.
Yukiko: No problem. I’ll keep you posted.
A: What is causing the problem?
B: When the complaints were received?
C: Why Yukiko is investigating the problem?
Richard: I know. We all wanted it to succeed.
Yui: We spent months working on that project.
Richard: Bear in mind that not every good idea becomes a hit right away.
Yui: I guess that’s true.
Richard: What’s important is learning from it and moving forward. That’s how we improve.
Yui: So, you don’t think it was a failure?
Richard: No. It was a valuable lesson. Now let’s focus on the next opportunity.
A: Richard knew that Nobiru-chan wouldn’t sell well.
B: The woman expected Nobiru-chan to sell better.
C: Richard thinks Nobiru-chan was a failure.
