Lesson Lesson 109 This burger tastes like friendship
Yota: I was wondering if you still have the Sakurayama Senior Marathon burger.
Server: Yes, we do. Other that, and you get a free cola.
Yota: Sounds good. Three burgers, please. Too bad about the race, huh?
Miki: My grandmother was quite upset.
Sho: I’ll bet. She received special training, after all.
Miki: No, she was upset because her injury prevented your grandmother from winning.
Server: Here we are. Three Sakurayama Senior Marathon burgers and three colas.
Yota: This burger tastes like friendship.
Miki: Yeah, right!
Sho: It’s barbecue-flavored. They just took a regular burger and changed its name.
Lesson 109 Summary
Yota said to the server, “I was wondering if you still have the Sakurayama Senior Marathon burger.”
They ordered three burgers.
Miki’s grandmother was upset because her injury prevented Sho’s grandmother from winning.
Lesson 110 Will you succeed in developing our town?
Dj: Mr. Aoki, congratulations on becoming the new Sakurayama Senior Marathon champion!
Mr. Aoki: Thank you. Sorry I can’ t be there today. I am now in Thailand on business.
Dj: It was a really tight race. How did you win in the end?
Mr. Aoki: Well, there was an accident, but ultimately, I never forgot that I was there to win.
Dj: I understand you are also a member of our town’s regional development board.
Mr. Aoki: Yes. I think you need three things for successful regional development. One, attraction. Two, a future. And three, profitability.
Dj: Will you succeed in developing our town?
Mr. Aoki: I always succeed.

He told the DJ, “I think you need three things for succesful regional development.
One, attraction. Two, a future. And three, profitability.

Yumi: The editorial department wants to release the book in Japan and America next summer.
David: That’s great!
Yumi: It would be great to have pictures of Satoyama from winter to spring.
David: I’ll do best. Um…Yumi, can I ask you something personal?
Yumi: It depends on the question.
David: Have you ever laughed from your heart?
Yumi: What kind of a question is that?
David: Sho seems to have something on his mind. He keeps sighing during our lessons. I think the needs his mother more than ever. Let me help bring back happiness to your family.
Lesson 111 Summary
Yumi told David the editorial department wanted to release his book in Japan and America next summer.
But David was worried about Sho.
He told Yumi, “Let me help bring back happiness to your family.”
Lesson 112 I want to ask you something
Sho & Naoki: Thank you, Mr. Tanaka.
