He looks just like his grandfather when he’s cooking.
look like …は「～に似ている」、「～みたいだ」と外見上の特徴を表す表現です。like の前に just や exactly（まさに、ちょうど）などの副詞を入れると、「～にそっくりだ・うりふたつだ」と強調した言い方になります。
