Gavin: Wow, this shop is so crowded!
Holly: Yes, it’s always like this at the end of the year.
Gavin: So what do you need?
Holly: I want to get some cute New Year’s cards.
Gavin: Oh, I see. Well, it’s going to be the Year of the Boar, and there are some cute boars on these cards.
Holly: Yes, but I don’t like them much.
Gavin: I have an idea. You’re good at drawing, so why not make your own cards?
Holly: Mmm… But I’m kind of busy these days. Let’s look around a little more.

be good at は「～が得意」。why not …？は「～したらどう？」。提案を表す気楽なフレーズです。覚えておきましょう。

kind of の使い方です。「ちょっと・やや」。断言を避けるために使われる表現です。

What do you need?
wh 疑問文（疑問詞〈wh 語〉を使った疑問文）です。このキーセンテンスは「何を必要としていますか」という意味ですが、そもそもなぜそういった意味が了解されるのでしょうか。need の後ろ（目的語）が「欠けている」から。この位置が空所であるところから、「何を必要とする」のかを尋ねていることが分かるのです。
wh 語にはどういったものがあるのか、列記しておきます。
What is that? あれ「何」?
Who is that girl? あの女の子「誰」？
Which do you like? 「どっち」が好き?
When are you leaving? 「いつ」出発するの?
Where did you buy that dress? 「どこで」あのドレス買ったの？
How did you do that? 「どうやって」やったの?
Whose is this? これ「誰の」?
Why didn’t you call me? 「なぜ」電話をくれなかったの?
What is that? あれ「何」?

主語は the performer you like the best in this band ここまで出来れば後は簡単です。
Where shall we meet?
shall we は「しましょうか？」。Let’s よりもやわらかい勧誘表現です。
