イボンヌはバリーに、昨日見に行ったラグビーの試合について話をしています。
Last night, I went to an amateur rugby game.
Oh, did you?
Yes, I got interested in rugby after we saw that international match together.
Japan played very well. They’ve improved a lot.
A handsome player named Kenta scored two tries last night! He kept on playing although he was injured.
Oh, do you like him?
Yes. Even though he never smiles, he always makes me smile.
Goodness, I think you’re in love!
ラグビー選手のケンタがインタビューされています。
I watched you playing rugby last week. You got injured, right? Are you OK?
I’m fine, thanks. It wasn’t serious injury.
Why do you play so hard?
Well, the coach wants us to do our best. He is an excellent coach. He can be a bit aggressive, though.
But you’re not aggressive at all. You seem to be very gentle.
Maybe I have to be tough when I play rugby.
Is that why you never smile?
Well, it’s one of the reasons.
突然の雨、傘を持っておらず困っているウィルに同僚のリコが救いの手を差し伸べます。
Oh, no. It’s raining!
Didn’t you bring an umbrella?
No, I wasn’t expecting rain. The forecast just said it would be cloudy today.
If you wait a few minutes, I’ll give you a ride to the station.
Really? That would be great. I’m fed up with buying plastic umbrellas from a convenience store all the time.
You should get a portable umbrella.
I have one, but I never bring it when I need it.

Oh, this is the end of the line for the ride. It says we have to wait 40 minutes.
How come it’s so crowded on a weekday? Why did we have to come here?
If you say that again, I go home.
I could be playing video games at home.
OK, that’s it. Ahhhh!!!
Shhh… Everybody’s looking at us!
So will you stop complaining now?
Yes, yes. I’ll do anything if only you’ll stop screaming.
Good.
