Lesson 161 We will open it at our 10-years reunion
Mr. Tanaka: Hello, class. On your graduation day, we will bury a time capsule in the schoolyard. The capsule will have messages you write to yourselves in the future. I’d like all of you to take part in this.
Students: Yes, sir!
Miki: Mr. Tanaka, when do we open the time capsule?
Mr. Tanaka: We will open it at our 10-years reunion. So , please write a letter to yourself 10 years later.
Sho: What should we write?
Mr. Tanaka: Well, for example, you can write, “Did you become a school principal?” Write a question that you can answer in the future.
Sho: Yes, sir. Boy, this is going to be hard.

Miki: How about during summer vacation?
Yota: I can’t promise anything. My soccer practice comes first.
Sho: That’s right. You want to become a first-string player from your first year.
Miki: That’s amazing, Yota. So, what will you do during spring break?
Yota: I will be going to see as many high school soccer matches as possible.

Miki: Mr. Aoki and my father worked at the same company 20 yeas ago. When my father told Mr. Aoki I was looking for a place in Tokyo, he said that I could stay at his place.
Yota: I bet his house has a tennis court.
Miki: He lives in a traditional Japanese house. There is no tennis court, but there’s a garden with a tea house.
