Megan: Oh, where did you go?

Yoichi: I went clam digging with my family on the beach. I didn’t use sunscreen, so I got burned.

Megan: Clam digging? Is that a popular activity?

Yoichi: Yes, there were so many people looking for clams.

Megan: Did you make clam chowder?

Yoichi: No, we steamed the clams with sake.
