Aki: It’s difficult to explain my ideas about it. Some of these symbols look like earlier versions of Egyptian symbols.
Peacock: Earlier versions? You mean they later became Egyptian symbols?
Aki: It’s possible. Let me illustrate my point. This symbol appears to represent a specific sound.
Peacock: Are you saying it’s an alphabet?
Aki: Yes, I think so.
Peacock: So, the symbols make up words.
Aki: Yes.
A: That the symbols are illustrations.
B: That the symbols represent an alphabet.
C: That ancient Egyptians created these symbols.
Carl: Great, thanks. How are you?
Tina: Awesome. My name’s Tina, and I’ll be your server today. Here’s your menu, sir.
Carl: Thank you. So, what do you recommend for an appetizer?
Tina: The shrimp cocktail is very popular.
Carl: Oh, I love shrimp cocktail! OK, I’ll get that. And can you suggest a white wine?
Tina: Gladly, sir. I recommend this chardonnay.
Carl: I see it’s from Oregon. Are wines from Oregon good?
Tina: Absolutely! Willamette Valley produces excellent chardonnays.

C: Recommend a wine to him.
Dr. Stein: It’s a pleasure to meet you, Dr. Sugimoto.
Dr. Sugimoto: Honored, sir. I’ve heard so much about your androids, Jeannie and Frankie.
Dr. Stein: Oh, thank you. They are becoming more and more like humans every day.
Dr. Sugimoto: I understand. Developing robots requires long-term efforts. I have developed my own android as well.

Mr. Emori: Not at all. You’re a very good haiku poet.
Adeline: Really? Why do you think so?
Mr. Emori: It’s the way you see the world. Haiku is about observing the world.
Adeline: Like seeing the water drops on this glass of tea.
Mr. Emori: Yes, exactly. Well, I guess we should be going now. That was a delicious matcha latte.
Adeline: Let me get it. I insist.
