Today’s dialog
Mr. Yamamoto: Morning! I’m good, thanks. You?
Ms. Reynolds: I’m all right, but…could you keep this to yourself?
Mr. Yamamoto: Of course. What’s going on?
Ms. Reynolds: My husband might be transferred to Boston, and if that happens, we’ll have to move.
Mr. Yamamoto: Oh, I see. That’s big news.
Ms. Reynolds: Yeah, but nothing’s confirmed yet. I don’t want the whole neighborhood talking.
Mr. Yamamoto: Don’t worry. My lips are sealed.
Ms. Reynolds: Thanks. I really appreciate it.
I’m good. [I’m all right.]: まあまあですよ
transfer: ～を転任・転勤させる
we’ll [we will] have to ～: 私たちは～しなくてはならないだろう
confirm: ～を確認する
