Megan: Of course! Your novels are classics of English literature.

Mr. Dickens: Well, I wouldn’t call them classics. I’m not dead yet. Do you have a favorite book?

Megan: Hmm. Oliver Twist was memorable.

Mr. Dickens: Interesting. Not many people would say that book is their favorite.

Megan: The characters are wonderful. And it’s been made into a movie several times.

Mr. Dickens: What is a…movie?

That’s not necessarily true.

He doesn’t talk very much.
