Akira: Copy, Dr. Lansing. We are a little shaken up, but we’re fine.
Ellie: What happened?
Akira: An alien spacecraft was hovering over the base. A blue beam came out of it.
Ellie: What do you think the beam was?
Akira: It’s beyond my comprehension. But I think it scanned our computers.
Ellie: Is there any damage to the base?
Akira: Some computers are damaged beyond repair.
Ellie: Stand by, Mars Base.
