ラジオ英会話 Lesson 075 今週の Review
Listen to the questions and pick which one of the three options is the correct answer.
Listening Challenge!

Sarah: I just feel like I’m barely keeping up. What if I mess up my midterms?
Jake: Hey, you’re one of the smartest people in our class. You explain things even the professor makes seem complicated. You’ve already done the work. Trust yourself.
Sarah: You really think so?
Jake: Absolutely. You don’t need to worry about those exams. Just get some sleep. Your brain works best when you’re rested.

A: To explain her situation to the professor.
B: To get some rest.
C: To work harder.

Jennifer: Yeah… Japanese Culture Club got canceled, so now I have nothing to do. I was really looking forward to it.
Ethan: Oh, that’s a shame. What were you guys doing today?
Jennifer: We were supposed to practice making onigiri for the cultural fair.
Ethan: Well, since you’re suddenly free, how about grabbing a burger at Sunset Shack?
Jennifer: From onigiri to burgers?
Ethan: Cultural exchange. My treat.
Jennifer: OK, deal. Let’s go.

A: Go to the Japanese Culture Club.
B: Make onigiri.
C: Go to a burger place.

Claire: I’m just tired. The baby needs me constantly, and I’m trying to keep everything organized before we go back to work.
James: That’s exactly why I’m worried. We start work again soon. I suggest hiring a housekeeper, at least temporarily.
Claire: I don’t know… It feels like admitting I can’t handle it.
James: It’s not that. It’s about making things easier for you-and for us.
Claire: Maybe that would help.

A: She broke something.
B: She is tired.
C: She doesn’t want to go back to work.

Yukiko: Yes. I would like to propose a support program for employees who return to work after having a baby.
CEO: What would that include?
Yukiko: Flexible hours, temporary remote work, and help finding childcare. Going back to work can be very stressful. If we support our employees, they will feel more secure and stay with the company longer.
CEO: Thank you, Yukiko. We will review your proposal.

A: Work location flexibility.
B: Home security.
C: Assistance with finding childcare.
