Bobbie: I don't care if you're exhausted. This is where it counts.

Bobbie: No! Ten more sit-ups. Nobody realizes what it takes to get in shape.

Yoshi: You're worse than a drill sergeants!

Ms. Brant: So, Mr. Yamamoto, how are the preparations for the company-wide meeting coming along?

Mr. Yamamoto: We seem to be on schedule. We haven't had one of these in a long time.

Ms. Brant: Exactly, so we should be careful. We might be forgetting some details.

Mr. Yamamoto: What about the dress code?

Ms. Brant: Please ask the employees to wear business casual.

Mr. Yamamoto: They usually do anyway.

Ms. Brant: Well, I've noticed that some have been wearing tennis shoes to work recently.

Mr. Yamamoto: That's true. I'll send everyone a memo.

James: Welcome to New York. You're not alone. People from all over the world come to live and work here.

Shiho: Yes, I know New York is a very diverse city.

James: That's right. It's a melting pot of different cultures.

Shiho: Do you have any advice for me?

James: Don't be overawed. And enjoy the amazing variety of foods you can find here.

Shiho: Thanks for the tip.

出張中のキャサリンとマナブが食事を終えた後、マナブがホテルの鍵がないことに気づきます。

Catherine: Well, that was the most delicious food I've had in a long, long time.

Manabu: Me too. The sashimi was particularly good, right?

Catherine: Yeah, but the dessert buffet was what really impressed me.

Manabu: I know you have a sweet tooth! Anyway, we have to wake up early tomorrow.

Catherine: Yes, we have an early flight.

Manabu: Oh, no! I can't find my hotel room key.

Catherine: Again? You're always losing your keys.

Manabu: Ah, now I see why. There's a hole in my pocket.

Catherine: Well, let's go back to the restaurant. The key's probably there.

②あなたのお勧めで「みそ煮込みホテル」に行った同僚が、サービスが良くなかったと文句を言っています。誤解を解きましょう。

例えば「ちょっとした誤解があるようですね。私はみそ煮込みホテルが最上のホテルだとは言いませんでした。 私が言ったのはみそ煮込みうどんを食べる最高の場所だということです。」など。

Hey, the hotel you recommended was not so good. The service there was well below par.
