場所を表す前置詞では on, in, at がよく出てきますが、少し複雑な位置関係を説明するときは、behind …（～のうしろ）や by …（～の〔すぐ〕そば）のような前置詞も使ってみましょう。特にこの例のように、場所の説明を、異なる前置詞を使って2とおりに行うと、よりわかりやすくなります。
way behind … にすると「～のずっとうしろ」という意味になります。
