A Singer-Songwriter

H: Dean, when did you start writing songs?

D: Well, it wasn’t until I was well into my 30s.

H: Wow. You’re a late bloomer!

D: (Laughing.) You could put it that way.

H: Did you ever imagine you’d be a singer-songwriter?

D: No, not in a million years. I joined a friend’s band on a lark.

H: That’s when The Blue Sun Dogs rose to fame.

D: Yup. Everything fell into place.
