J: Well….the college is out in Illinois. If I get the scholarship, I’m leaving Minnesota at the end of the summer.
P: I don’t like this, Jose.
J: Neither do I, Pa.
P: What will happen to us?
J: I have to get the scholarship, Pa. I didn’t come this far to lose.
P: I see.
J: And you should do the same. Focus on your music, not me. We’ll figure something out. OK
P: OK. I’ll talk to you later.

「わたしも～（ない）です」
I don’t like this. Neither do I.
このようなことはいやです。わたしもいやです。
前文でI don’t like …(～は好きでない）という否定の内容を受けて「わたしも～は好きではありません」と答えるときは、
Neither do I. と言います。do Iのように疑問文と同じような語順になることに注意しましょう。
前文がbe動詞の否定文の場合は、
Neither am I.のようになります。同様の口語的な言い方としては
Me,neither. があります。
Most of my friends aren’t interested in politics, and neither am I.
私の友人のほとんどは政治に興味がありませんし、わたしも興味がありません。
肯定の内容を受ける場合は、NeitherではなくSoを使い、
So do I./ So am I. Me, too.やI do (am), too.と同じ意味です。
