V: I entered the Santa Contest in my younger days.

L: That’s a very good impersonation of Santa!
V: Thanks. I’m a little out of practice. And you have to be limber.
L: Limber?
V: Yes. You’re required to climb roofs and slide down chimneys.
L: Now you’re pulling my leg!

V：私は若いころ、サンタコンテストに参加しました。
L：出るには何か特別な才能が必要なのですか？
V：陽気にならなくてはいけません、こんな感じで「ホーホーホ！」
L：サンタの物まね、とてもお上手ですよ！
V：どうも。 少し練習不足でして。 あとは、身体が柔軟でないとね。
L：柔軟？
V：そう。 屋根を登ってから煙突を滑り降りなければならないので。
L：それって私をからかっていますね！
