今日は3月11日です。
Today is March 11th.
あの想い出すのも忌まわしい、東北で大地震が発生し大津波が襲来し、多くの人が逃げ惑い、逃げられなかった人々が波にさらわれるのをただ見るしかなかった地獄絵図を想い出さなければいけない日です。
It is a day I must remember the miserable day when I did not do it.
私はその日、大阪にいて、ただテレビの前で無力で、阪神大震災を想い出し、涙を流しながら祈るしかなかった。
I was in Osaka that day, I was helpless in front of the television, remembering the Great Hanshin Earthquake and praying while shedding tears.
そして翌日、そんな地獄のさなかで福島の原発が爆発したのをテレビで見て、政府が「メルトダウンはありません」と発表しているのを、「嘘をつけ」と怒りながら、この先どうなるんだろう、と大阪の地にいても絶望感が漂いました。
And the day after that, I knew the explosion of the nuclear power plant on the news and felt a big hopeless feeling.
東日本大震災の死者は、行方不明者および関連死を含めると2万1000人以上、そして現在でも避難者は12万人を超え、あれから6年もたつのに仮設住宅入居者は3万3854人だとか・・

阪神大震災の時は、私は宝塚市に住んでいたので震度７の凄まじさは実感しています。
大自然のパワーは凄まじく、人間がそれに立ち向かうことは不可能だと思っています。
後はそのパワーからいかに逃れるか、またはいかにそのパワーを軽減するかです。
At the time of the Great Hanshin Earthquake, I lived in Takarazuka City so I realize the severity of seismic intensity 7.
The power of nature is tremendous, I think that it is impossible for humans to face it.
After that how to escape from that power, or how to reduce that power.
神戸の町は、いったん火災に包まれ戦場の様だった被災地は、あれから地震に強い町になったはずです。
だけど、大阪でも京都でも、そして兵庫県でも、地震災害に遭わなかった町は全然（ほとんど）変わっていません。
The town in Kobe was once a disaster area that was like a battlefield in a fire and should have become a town strong against the earthquake from then on.
However, in Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo prefecture, the town which did not suffer from the earthquake disaster has not changed at all.
南海トラフ地震の危機、などと関西地方でも、近いうちに起こると予想されていますが、それでも地震が来たらすぐに崩壊する家は私の周りにも無数にあります。
Even in the Kansai region, major earthquakes are expected to take place in the near future, but there are countless houses around me that will soon collapse as soon as the earthquake strikes.
そして、いつか大地震が来て、古い弱い家屋は全壊し、そういうところに住む人々は嘆き悲しみ、多くの人は傷つきまたは死亡し、そして町並みは一変し、地震に強い町になる、私たちにはその繰り返ししか方法はないのでしょうか？
And one day it will come, old old weak houses will be destroyed, people will grieve, many people will be hurt or die.
And the townscape changes completely, it becomes a town strong against earthquakes, is there a way we can only repeat it?
だけど家を建て替えたり補強するにはお金が必要だし、今すぐに全ての家屋を、はそれは不可能です。それはわかっています。
所詮は自分の人生は自分が決定しますから、震災に強い家屋にするかどうかは自己責任の部分もあるので、ある程度のことは仕方ない、と思います。
But to rebuild or reinforce the house we need money and it is impossible to do so immediately.
I know that.
Since I decide my life, it is part of my own responsibility to decide whether to make it a strong house to the disaster.
でも、大震災が来ても、被害を最小限にとどめる工夫は絶対に必要です。
そして自然のパワーを過小評価しないことも大事です。
However, even if a disaster strikes, ingenuity to minimize the damage is absolutely necessary.
And it is also important not to underestimate the power of nature.
私が今、この3月11日を迎えて何が言いたいのかといえば、それは原発の停止を何が何でもさせなければいけない、と強く思っています。
What I would like to strongly say with this day now is that stop of nuclear power plants is top priority.
人間が地震に勝つなんてことは無理です。
我々人間が大自然に立ち向かうなんてことは無理です。断言します。
It is impossible for a man to win an earthquake.
It is impossible for us to face nature. I will declare it.
だけど、被害を最小限に押さえる方法は考えなければいけません。
But, we have to think about how to minimize the damage
福島の原発でも、現状は危険は無いかのような報道はされていますが、実は危険だらけです。
4号機などはメルトダウンしていながらその対処法はまだ無く、だから避難地域が全然解消されないのです。
Even the nuclear power plant in Fukushima, the current situation is reported as if there is no danger, but in reality it is full of danger.
Unit 4 and others are melting down yet, but there is no way to deal with it, so the evacuation area can not be eliminated at all.
いったん事故が起きれば、広範囲に被害が及ぶ原子力発電所でありながら、そして原子力発電所から生まれる廃棄物を処理する方法もないのに無責任に原子力発電所を維持しようとする気持ちが私には全然理解できません。
If that accident happens, it will be damaged extensively.
And there is no way to handle waste discharged from it.
But the government is still trying to maintain nuclear power plants irresponsibly.
I can not understand it at all.
ちなみに処分方法は詳しくは書きませんが、地中深く埋めて2万年って、誰が2万年の責任取れるのでしょうね。
Who can take responsibility for what happens 20,000 years in the future?
笑い話ではないのですから・・・

地震の備えは万全ですか？

福島の原子力発電所も過去の自民党政権も東電も「原子力発電所は絶対に安全だ」と呪文の様に言っていましたが、実際はあんなものです。
They said that nuclear power plants are absolutely safe for both the country and the company, but in reality they were liars.
しかも危険は地震だけではありません。
Moreover, not only the earthquake is the risk of concern.
テロリストが原子力発電所を占拠する、ということはあり得ませんか？
こんなこと、夢物語のようですが、実際にそんなことが起こらないと誰が言えますか？

昔、作家の三島由紀夫が自前の戦闘部隊を造り、自衛隊に押し込んだことがあります。
私は、今でもお金と仲間がいればそういうことが可能な世界だと考えています。
しかも原子力発電所には自衛隊ほどの戦力を持った警備はされていません。

さらにもう一つの危機は、北朝鮮が原子力発電所にミサイルを撃ち込んだらどうしますか？
And another crisis.
What will happen if North Korea shoots a missile there?
これもあり得ない夢物語ですか？
Is this the dreaming fantasy world?
だけど何をするか予測不能な金正恩がそんなことしないって楽観過ぎません？
Are you an optimist?
そういう数万人が危機に遭うかもしれないことから逃れる秘策は、原子力発電所のゼロを目指すことだけです。
それ以外での危機から逃れる方法はありません。
There is only one way to escape from such a crisis.
It is to eliminate nuclear power plants.
自分の子供に、君たちの将来は安全な社会だ、と責任を持って言えるような行動を、私はこれからもしていきたいと考えています。
I would like to continue doing my behaviors that I can say with my child responsibly that your future is a safe society.
